Browser reproduction based on your photos and menu recording, not the firmware. Screen proportions stay fixed; on a phone, rotate or enlarge for easier use. Readings and media are simulated. Exact fonts, uncaptured pages and some Appearance behavior still need references. The recording confirms Speed / RPM changes dial rings and arc fills, not the large numbers. Other color targets remain provisional. Coolant bar fill is independent because its mapping isn’t shown. No CarPlay/Android Auto session is implied.

Full gauges loaded from the photo reference. Preferences is the sliders icon in the bottom bar.

Build update / October 7, 2026

What’s working.
What’s next.

Progress reported from our development build. These are not final release specifications or a guarantee of compatibility. Orders remain closed.

Current development build

  • Coolant-temperature gauge and fuel-level gauge.
  • Low-fuel visuals: yellow bar at 20%, yellow pulse at 10%, and red pulse at a reported 0%.
  • Color palette: customizable appearance items for your display.
  • Adaptive audio: selectable strength from +1 to +10.
  • Return after reversing: restore the screen you were previously using. Try the R button in the browser preview.
  • Return after a phone call: restore your previous screen when the call ends.
  • Black-screen mode.

The browser preview simulates reverse-to-camera and return to the previous screen, without a vehicle or live camera. Real coolant-bar mapping, fuel-warning pulses, adaptive-volume response and automatic call returns still need to be matched.

In progress & future research

  • Apple CarPlay: unfinished.
  • Android Auto: unfinished.
  • Mapping-app choice: exploring broader options; availability and compatibility are unconfirmed.
  • AM/FM radio: on the research list; work has not started.
  • Turn-signal display: not started; physical input-to-CAN integration is expected to be needed.
  • Bluetooth lockup: investigation ongoing. Cause and fix have not been identified.
  • 2027 Defender HD11 display: a separate research track awaiting access to the newer screen. Feasibility remains unconfirmed. Maverick R and X3 retain the existing display platform.

Roadmap items are not promised launch features. We’ll update this page as testing establishes what we can offer.

Beyond the first machines: Spyder, snowmobile and watercraft are applications we want to investigate. They have not been tested. A shared-looking screen does not establish software compatibility.

Different machines. Careful validation.
